On 24 November, on behalf of the Superior General Luis Ignacio Rois Alonso, the pro-Vicar General confirmed the appointment of Father Guillaume Muthunda as provincial vicar. Father Muthunda is a member of the provincial council.

Guillaume MUTHUNDA Hengella, born December 27, 1967 in Mikope (DRC), is a priest, Oblate missionary of Mary Immaculate, with a missionary experience that led him to Nigeria, Cameroon, Angola and the general administration of his congregation in Rome.
Vicar of parishes and chaplain in the pastoral care of children and young people, accompanying adults, he was also a trainer and teacher of young religious.
He was superior of the Mission in Angola before assuming, at the General Council in Rome from 2016 to 2022, the post of general adviser for Africa and Madagascar of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
A member of the internal committee of the Mission of the General Council, issues related to the life and growth of young missionary units among the Oblates have always aroused great interest in him. Having completed his term at the General Council in October 2022, Father Guillaume Muthunda took his sabbatical leave until the next obedience in 2023.
