Giovanni Santolini was a saint

In Kinshasa, Italian father Alberto Gnemmi states that his colleague Giovanni Santolini, who died in Kinshasa on 23 March 1998, was a saint, a man of faith.

Father Gnemmi, General Councillor for Africa, is in Kinshasa for the « consultations » organized by the congregation for the renewal of the provincial administration after a first three-year term.

The visit of Father Gnemmi, accompanied by Father Asodo Istoyo, assistant general, coincides with the celebration of the 19th anniversary of the death of Father Giovanni Santolini.
