Sacred for decades for the church of the parish Immaculate Heart of Mary of Ifwazondo, in the diocese of Idiofa, Province of Kwilu, in the DRC, it was nicknamed « Yezu » for his role as a faithful and devoted sacristan and for having once incarnate the Lord Jesus during the account of the Passion, on a holy Friday, in the absence of the priest. He died in Idiofa, where he was hospitalized.

By his real name Muntulu, he was also a member of the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate, i.e. a lay associate of the Oblate missionaries of Mary Immaculate. The Oblates of Ifwanzondo paid him tributes worthy of his rank. The novices of Ifwanzondo recited the office of the deceased in the parish church before the funeral mass. The students of St. John Bosco College prayed for the one who had the rank of guardian of their institute.

It was the parish priest, Father Gérard Ndukulu, who proceeded to the absout and burial of the illustrious missing on Thursday 18 January. Other Oblate missionaries concelebrated.
