The academic year 2025-2026 is closed at the Université de Mazenod de Kinshasa (DRC). Thus he declared Father Guillaume Muthunda, provincial vicar of the Missionary Oblates of the Province of Congo, president of the board of directors of the university.
Father Muthunda presided at the closing Mass of the academic year on Thursday, July 09 in the chapel of the scholasticate of Saint-Eugène de Mazenod of Kintambo-Kinshasa.
It was a mass of gratitude to God and meditation on the wisdom and identity of the University as salt of the earth and light of the world.
During the moment of thanksgiving, the Rector of the University, Father Clement Fiyungu, introduced the new academic secretary. Father Didier Mafuta will replace Father Guy Muluku as early as October's academic year.
The celebration continued with a meal shared by teachers, administrative staff and finalist students.
