The four Oblates are Fathers Timothy Bunkatu, Felician Madidi, Mordecai Kuli and Guillaume Kwaritanga. The Archbishop told the Ordinands that he ordered them to lead the people of God on the path of holiness. To proclaim, to sanctify, to govern, is the triple function of the priestly ministry, a work of communion.
The Archbishop stressed that the priest's ministry will bear fruit if the priest cultivates his collaboration with the bishop. The priest must live communion with God, with the Church by the bishop, the superiors, between priests and with the faithful.
The model of communion is in God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To live such communion, he must first preserve his intimacy with Christ through a life of prayer and study.
Let the priest take care to prepare his homilies. « Treat the sacraments, including reconciliation. Visit the sick and the elderly ».

The Archbishop of Kinshasa asked the faithful to accompany the new priests with prayers and ways of living. Cardinal Ambongo recalled that priests choose to live poor, with little means and that it is appropriate for the faithful to help them in this fundamental choice.
