The Archbishop of Kinshasa, Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo, celebrated on Wednesday 23 September the Mass of the funeral vigil for the rest of the soul of Father Jean Bosco Musumbi.
« I followed his evolution, as mentioned in the homily. His stay in Rome, his missionary life in Cameroon and lacroix, the disease he had had to carry for several years. So that, today, even if we experience the pain of separation, somewhere, it is a deliverance for him. Today we have the certainty of faith that at last his suffering is over. He now enjoys eternal bliss.
May his example stimulate us in our lives to know how to stand up despite problems, despite suffering, despite the weight of the cross. At the end of the road there is the resurrection. Thank you to the Missionary Oblates, the Provincial Father, for this worthy organization for the funeral of our brother Jean Bosco Musumbi. And that the path drawn by the pioneer can mark the youngest and those who arrive today. May his soul rest in peace! »
