« Father Anaclet Dupar's life was worth living. Thank you for his presence in the Archdiocese of Kinshasa. » Bishop Edouard Isango, one of the three auxiliary bishops of Kinshasa, entrusted him to the assembly moved at the funeral mass of the Oblate father who died on August 19, 2026.
On behalf of the Archbishop, Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo, Bishop Isango presided at the Mass in the courtyard of the scholasticate of Saint Eugene de Mazenod, a few metres from the cemetery where other Oblates of the Province of Congo are resting.

Monsignor Isango noted, at the beginning of his homily, that the deceased died on 19 August was well at work on 17 August. The parish priest Saint-Philippe had worked in the field with the diocesan commission of settlements. The pastor had suggested to the archbishop the implantation of a sub-paroisse. He took this project to heart.
And the news of his disappearance received on August 20 was very dismaying.. What happened? How fast things can go in a man's life! What could we do to avoid death?
Monsignor Isango asked himself, and he reassured on the basis of the Holy Scriptures: We are not masters of our life, which holds only a thread. Let us trust in humility to the Lord. Our life is suspended from God's will. He is sovereign, he can call us back to him whenever he wants. The important thing is to do good. Every day.

It is up to us to continue the project that Anaclet leaves us. Tomorrow is God's, today is ours. Let us live our full commitment today. May our brother enter into the joy of his master! Living also means learning to die, every day, to enter into the joy of God.
On behalf of the Archbishop, Cardinal Ambongo, tribute to this servant of the gospel. And thank you for the gift of his family to God. Thank you to the Oblates, to the parish of Saint-Philippe and to all.

Our Christian hope is in the sacrifice of Mass to recommend our brother to God's mercy for eternal rest.
