In Kikwit, in the province of Kwilu (DRC), the School Complex Mgr. Louis Mbwol opened its doors on 08 September 2025 for the school exercise 2025-2026, with the Grades 1 and 2 primary, 7th and 8th secondary.
School officials still live in the Plateau community. A new Oblate community will soon be built on the grounds of the new school in the Ndunga or Kikwit 4 neighbourhood.
On November 30, 2023, Bishop Louis Mbwol, Emeritus Bishop of Idiofa, former novice master and dean of the Congolese Oblates, laid the foundation stone of this school complex in the presence of the provincial superior, Father Constant Kienge-Kienge.
