Bishop Louis Mbwol, 92 years old, Bishop Emeritus of Idiofa, Dean of the Congolese Oblates, former master of novices, himself laid the foundation stone of the School Complex which bears his name. It was Thursday, November 30th. Arrived from Kinshasa, Bishop Louis Mbwol blessed the attendance, the places and the speakers and prayed that God would protect all the work and all the workers and builders.
The provincial superior, Father Constant Kienge-Kienge, explained to the audience, in the Kikongo language, how much the maternal, primary and secondary education that will be provided in the School Complex Mbwol falls well within the charism of the Missionary Oblates, dedicated to the evangelization of the poor. And Father Kienge-Kienge identified the young as part of the poor in the Sam neighbourhood of Kikwit 4, where the city of Kikwit extends from day to day.

The Provincial Superior of the Oblates also revealed the wish of Bishop Timothy Bodika of Kikwit: that, in addition to teaching, the Oblates are responsible for pastoral work in general. Later, therefore, a parish will be served in the area by the Oblate Missionaries. They are already present in the parish of Notre-Dame du rosaire. It was also the parish priest, Father Jean-Marie Wenze, who was the master of the ceremony on Thursday 30 November.

Father Kienge-Kienge also urged local residents to take responsibility. It is up to them to protect the site and the works, he declared to the many young people and children and to the adults present as curious or as workers already engaged in clearing up or clearing the ground for the work carried out by Father Thomas Mukiramfi, engineer of the works.
The chief of land of Ndunga village, David Atumesa, reassured that the Oblates had bought the land in good form and that they would not be challenged in their endeavours. And the head of the neighborhood, Pacôme Mufwenge, said all the hope placed by the neighborhood in the presence of missionaries to promote teaching.

Father Mukiramfi explained the steps of the work to set some deadlines. The population is looking forward to this work, which will raise the standard of living of the neighbourhood. Enrolment for students will take place for the school year 2026-2027. It will take at least two years to raise the four two-level buildings for classrooms and offices.

On the site, the School Complex Mgr.Louis Mbwol also provides for a boarding school and a convent, a community of Missionary Oblates.
